You scroll through your feed every day. Gaza. Wars. Politics. It blurs after a while, right?
But something is happening right now that isn’t getting the attention it deserves, and it directly affects every single Muslim.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is under serious, imminent threat. And the world is barely talking about it.
What’s Happening?
For a month now, Al-Aqsa has been completely shut. No prayers. No entry. Nothing. And it wasn’t random. Israeli authorities knew weeks in advance when the war with Iran was going to happen. So, this means the closure of Al-Aqsa was planned. It has nothing to do with public safety.
Even during Ramadan:
- Iftar was banned inside the mosque
- Suhoor was blocked for workers
- Umbrellas for women praying in the courtyards were prohibited
And then for the first time since Israeli occupation, Friday prayer in Ramadan was cancelled. Unilaterally. By force. No discussion. No acceptance from Muslims.
Who’s Behind This And Why?
This isn’t just politics. This goes much deeper.
The current government in power isn’t like previous ones. Previous governments used religion as a tool to gain votes and support. The Netanyahu one is different; it uses government power to fulfill what they believe are ancient religious prophecies. Specifically, they believe they must destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque and build what they call the “Third Temple” in its place. And they believe doing this will trigger the coming of the Messiah.
And not only Israel. Influential figures inside the current American administration hold the exact same beliefs. The Secretary of Defence. The Speaker of the House. People at the very top hold the key.
Why Should You Care?
Al-Aqsa is one of the three sacred mosques in Islam. It’s mentioned in the Qur’an. It belongs to two billion Muslims around the globe, not just Palestinians.
And the people driving this agenda actually want chaos. They believe a world war is necessary to trigger the coming of the Messiah. That’s not a conspiracy theory, that’s what they preach publicly.
When fanatics with this worldview control nuclear-armed militaries, it’s not a regional problem. It’s a global one.
So What Role Do You Play?
- Learn and share. Most people your age have no idea this is happening. You do now.
- Search for the solution: Connect with the Qur’an, and read seerah with a bird’s eye view, without bogging down in minute details. And how the two together changed world order.
- Talk about it. At school, at home, online using whatever means you have.
- Make du’a. Never underestimate it.
A question for you to sit with: If you found out your house was about to be taken, would you stay silent? Al-Aqsa is every Muslim’s house.
